Background and Goals
eHome aims at developing a smart home system, which allows seniors to live longer in their familiar environment. After equipping the flat/house with sensors, the system learns the occupiers usual behaviour and is able to react adequately in case of unexpected deviances.
It is important that all sensors are unobstrusive. Thus, design aspects must be taken seriously.
